Hors HK, les gens ont connu Stephen Chow grace au succès de son film shaolin soccer, il est revenu avec crazy kung fu, gros succés international encore une fois, d'ailleurs il a prévu une suite peut etre pour l'an prochain... Mais a hong kong, Stephen Chow est une énorme star, depuis plus de 15 ans, c'est l'un des acteurs les mieux payés dans son pays... C'est un acteur aussi très apprécié sur tout le continent asiatique.
Stephen Chow, de son vrai nom Chow Sing Chi est né en 1962 a Hong kong, the king of comedy comme on le surnomme pourtant au début de sa carrière, il a surtout joué dans des polars, il a meme joué dans un film de John Woo... Au début des années 90, il va devenir très célèbre et populaire grace a deux films "all for the winner" et surtout "fight back to school 1", entre les deux, il va tourner "tricky brains" avec Andy Lau, ceux qui connaissent Andy Lau, ils auront du mal a l'imaginer jouer avec Stephen Chow, c'est vrai que c'est autre chose que ce qu'il a fait avec Johnnie To lol...... A partir de la, la machine est lancé, succès et parodies vont s'enchainer, l'excellent "royal tramp 1" avec Brigitte Lin, grande dame du cinéma HK, "fist of fury 91" parodie-hommage a Bruce lee, Stephen Chow est un grand fan de Bruce Lee et il est lui meme très doué dans les arts martiaux.... Il va continuer avec des films comme "bons baisers de pékin" une parodie de james bond, "le roi singe", "60 million dollar man", trop fort ce film qui parodie pas mal des prod américaines comme pulp fiction ou the mask de jim carrey... En 1996, il va sortir selon moi un de ses meilleurs films "the god of cookery" avec karen mok, faut voir la tronche de karen mok dans ce film lol, excellent :ok: , "the king of comedy", encore une fois avec karen mok et cecilia cheung aussi, le tout premier film de Cecilia, c'était un peu avant avant donc Shaolin Soccer.
Stephen Chow, c'est le type vraiment déjanté, un humour absurde, franchement c'est ca passe ou ca casse. En tout moi je le trouve trop fort!

I cant remember the name, there is this Stephen Chow gambling show I think Du Shen?, he have the du shen quan where he punch the first fella nothing but the more people behind the first fella the more powerful the punch. The second movie he went back in time to gamble, and his arch enemy also went back to the past but helped him go back to his original time or something cant remember. Have you got those 2 movies as well?
